UA College of Medicine - Phoenix
The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix admitted its first class of first-year medical students in August 2007. The College of Medicine – Phoenix has 192 students training to be physicians. The college seeks to promote health and improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease for the people of Arizona and beyond through education, research and patient care.
Start Smart and Science Cafe are free lectures that bring cutting edge topics to the community and are presented by the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix faculty and affiliates. Start Smart lectures are held in the morning 7:30 to 8:30am and Science Cafe are held in the evening from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. The intention of the series is to provide informative discussion in informal settings.
